Au Pair France
The Role of Au Pair
As an Au Pair, you live as a member of a French host family, sharing in their daily life. You become a special member of the family not a servant.
In exchange for up to 35 hours of child care assistance that you will provide for your host family’s children each week you will receive the following:
Your own furnished room & meals. |
Weekly pocket money of up to Euro 80. |
Two weeks of holiday with pocket money during your year. |
One entire weekend off per month, and at least one and
a half continuous days free each week. |
Time to spend as you choose. |
The opportunity to study French language at a local adult education facility. |
The opportunity to meet other Au Pair exchange participants like yourself - young women and men from many countries who’ve come to your home stay community as Au Pairs as well. |
