Training Course
in Germany
Before starting your job in the UK you’ll travel to
Germany where you’ll join a week long course at The European
Hotel Academy1. The course starts monthly. You will
be trained in hospitality and will take part in some intensive
workshops about culture and destination. You’ll also receive
intensive service training or, alternatively, intensive training
in Fidelio - a widely used computer reservation system.
The course takes place in Heppenheim - a beautiful vineyard
town between Frankfurt and Heidelberg. You’ll arrive on
a Friday, and have the whole weekend to relax, familiarise yourself
with the town and other participants, and recover from your
jet-lag.
Your course will start on Monday morning at 9:00am. You ’ll
be in the classroom until 3.00pm each day. Participants will
receive a certificate at the end of the course. On Saturday,
you’ll depart for the UK.
1. The European Hotel Academy is owned
and run by DFSR, our partner in Germany. DFSR has been
in business for nearly 30 years and has enabled thousands
of young people to participate in exchanges, language courses,
internships, university exchanges and au pair programs. > Back to the top |
