No Risk Policy
SPA offers a ‘no-risk’ policy. In other words, if we fail to meet the pre-established conditions or if you do not receive the specified scholarship offers, a full refund of the amount paid is provided.

tick American University Education
The program allows Aussie students to use their sporting skills to gain a University education in the USA. IDEA has established strong links to over 70 American institutions allowing Aussie students to obtain benefits traditionally limited to American residents.

High Class Education
No country in the world has more higher education institutions than the United States of America. American colleges and universities offer first-class educational programs with highly qualified lecturers.

Employer Recognition
Higher education institutions in America obtain professional accreditation by different governing bodies. These schools earn their accreditation by meeting certain criteria, helping ensure a quality education, as well as a degree that is recognized by employers around the world.
Endless Educational Options
One of the most important benefits of studying in the USA is the high number of academic options offered to students. The American school system utilizes credit units, which provides flexibility to working students, and student-athletes. This means that the student can choose when to attend classes, how many classes to enroll in each semester, and what optional classes to take.
Training, Research, & Technology
Most college and universities have established affiliations with employers and researchers in different fields of study, allowing students to obtain hands-on and priceless experience. In contrast with many other countries, many US institutions require that students obtain practical training in order to graduate.
Campus Life
International students find that the friends and experiences obtained during campus life in America are worth as much as the education itself. The lessons and lifetime friendships obtained by living with others from all over the world are priceless.
The American culture and its people
America is a melting pot of people from all over the world. International students find most Americans to be very hospitable, friendly, kind, generous and accepting of foreigners. Of course, there are a few exceptions, as in any country, but these are not the standard. In general, people are fun and eager to learn. Many international students embrace and take these philosophies home with them.

  1. Golf Program: Also takes place during July but is a little shorter. The cost of this Program remains unchanged.
  2. The fact that there are different American athletic leagues ranging from lower to higher levels of playing ability increases the scholarships opportunities for all candidates. Even in the most popular sports, candidates receive multiple opportunities since most institutions have two teams (one being a development team) and they are interested in increasing their cultural diversity.
  3. If your sport of interest is not available, we will always offer participation in the Study USA (Academic Scholarships USA) Program. In this case, the candidate will receive scholarship offers from institutions that have the sport of interest.
Amateur Status: In order to participate, applicants need to have amateur status. Students may have been involved or be currently participating in local leagues, associations, or federations. If the candidate has been involved with a professional organization and has received any type of compensation, please contact us to discuss eligibility based upon individual case.
