| Am I
guaranteed a scholarship by enrolling in the Program? |
Even though the program maintains a100% success rate in
obtaining scholarships, the institutions' admissions departments
determine the scholarships to be awarded. In the unlikely
event that a participant does not receive the stipulated scholarship
offers, they will be given a 100% refund of
the monies paid to SPA & IDEA. |
| How
many universities participate? |
Around 70 Institutions participate each year and are renewed
annually depending on their recruitment needs and objectives. Click

| When
can I begin or continue my university studies in the USA? |
Once selected by a university, participants can select
to begin or continue their studies in August (fall semester)
as well as in January (spring semester). |
| Can
I participate in the Program if I do not speak English? |
Yes. Participants who need to improve their knowledge of
the English language prior to beginning with university studies
will generally be able to study English at the recruiting
institution under the same scholarship arrangement. So, knowledge
of English is not a requirement for participation in the Program.

| Can
I transfer previous university work to the U.S. institution? |
Yes. However, each class taken, along with its academic
program, must be evaluated by the American institution to
determine its equivalency to the American
system. |
| How
long are the scholarships valid for? |
Generally, most of the institutions participating in the
Program offer scholarships for the duration of the university
career provided that performance is maintained.

| What
type of visa do I need to study in the USA? |
Once selected and offered a scholarship by an institution,
the student must obtain a visa to enter
and study in the USA. Student Placement Australia will assist
in obtaining all necessary documentation to be presented to
the institution and be admitted. The institution will then
issue the I-20 form that must be personally presented by the
beneficiary at the American embassy in the country of origin
in order to obtain the student visa. |
| Can
I work in the USA? |
Every institution has its own rules but students may work
as long as they follow the regulations imposed by the U.S.
Government with regards to International students. Currently,
International students may legally work up to 20 hours per
week.
